The Gartner Family

This was a fun filled day of 2 separate photoshoots.  The first shoot was a family portrait session for the Gartners.  All the kids and their spouses/fiances were going to be in town, and daughter Emily (who I went to school with and hadn't seen since  Jen and Levi's wedding. ) wanted to surprise her mom with family pictures for her birthday. So nice!

I've taken family pictures at this location 3 times now and really love it!  There's lots of old out buildings, barns, an abandoned house, crumbling stone walls, and moss-covered rustic-ness!  (we all know how I feel about moss!)  The sun was eye-ball-frying-bright at times, but we used patience and the clever "1-2-3 open your eyes *shutter click*" method. They are a great family, hope you enjoy!
